My Son Wants to Be a SuperHero

Becoming a successful father is one of my greatest accomplishments in life. Often we are forgotten or taken for granted in a society that is trying to find its way back home. I was blessed to have a son after 14 years of expectation. Lord knows I love my girls with all my heart, but there is something different about a man's son. In my son I see myself as God sees me. A child that desires to be the Super Hero his Father Is. My son often tells me I want to be like you Dad. When I hear that my chest pops out, but with that expectation much responsibility comes with it. I must remember to love my family for he watches my example. I must remember to keep my word & and promises for he will do the same. I must cherish my daughters for he will cherish women. I must lead by example for he will lead many. I must introduce him to the Saviour for he will draw others.

Men, be the Super Hero your sons need to see so that they can lead their family, community, country & nation.

Health & Nutrition

I'm discovering as I get older and wiser that Health & Nutrition are keys to wealth. Without them both life becomes less fulfilling and our power of influence diminishes. I recently read an article that talked about drinking your meals especially your vegetables. So I recently put the advice to good use by creating my own Smoothie Energy Drink. Here are the ingredients:

  1. Place in blender 36oz of purified water
  2. 3 scoops of Transitions Protein w/ Fiber Powder
  3. 1 scoop of Mocha Tonix powder mix
  4. 4 strawberries
  5. 1 peeled banana
  6. 2 scoops of Complete Greens
  7. Blend for approx. 2-3 minutes

KAPOW!!!!! Luke Cage PowerMan Drink

What a energy blast and Healthy too. This cocktail will give you energy, protein and keep you regular all at the same time. Also there are some weight loss benefits of drinking your meals.

Send me a response on how this works for you.

The Benefits of Walking

Last week I attempted to resume my running workouts after nursing a torn achilles. I've been an avid runner for approx. 33 years, more recently I've had to curtail my running to walking instead because of right knee pain from two knee surgeries & contstant impact on concrete. Wow! I used to believe walking was for old people, but my thoughts have definitely changed. Walking is actually better for me in the long run for a number of reasons.
  1. Less stress on the body
  2. Less impact on joints
  3. No pain, all gain
  4. Can do with others and get to know people
  5. Can meditate and pray while doing
  6. Easier to sustain for longevity
  7. Enjoy the details of life instead of watching it pass you by
  8. What's the rush anyway?
  9. Cheaper for keeping your shoes longer
  10. Can do anytime and mostly anywhere
So for all you old head runners out there with bad joints be advised it is ok to Walk, just
Keep It Moving!
