The Greatest Miracle
One of the greatest miracles we often overlook is the creation of marriage. It is recorded in Genesis 2:23-24: "The man said, ‘This is now bone of my bones and flesh of my flesh; she shall be called “woman,” for she was taken out of man.’ For this reason a man will leave his father and mother and be united to his wife, and they will become one flesh." God created man and then made woman to complement him. Marriage is God’s “fix” for the fact that “it is not good for the man to be alone” (Genesis 2:18). The words that sticks out in my mind is "one flesh" or also known as oneness. When God looks at a married couple he sees one union. He sees not just me, but us both all rolled into one body, mind and spirit. We men most often take a long time to understand what oneness is all about. The word oneness is defined as: wholeness, perfect harmony and agreement. So as a man that means my wife makes me whole, perfect and in full agreement of his likeness and character. Now remember he said, "It is not good for the man to be alone." So it was never God's intention or desire for man to be alone. Man needed someone of his equal that would challenge him to become more like him. A married couple working together in harmony is one of the greatest miracles that we often take for granted, especially men. We are often so single minded that we are blind to see that God has provided everything we need to thrive and live a complete productive life. That life he desires has a foundation of Love. His word says "Love never Fails" and that means that he never fails us because he is Love.
The word “helper” used to describe Eve in Genesis 2:20 means “to surround, to protect or aid, help.” Eve was created to be alongside Adam as his "other half," to be his aid and his helper. A man and woman, when married, become "one flesh." This oneness is manifested most fully in the physical union of sexual intimacy. The New Testament adds a warning regarding this oneness. "So they are no longer two, but one. Therefore what God has joined together, let man not separate" (Matthew 19:6). This scripture in Matthew is very clear and concise that we shouldn't allow anything to separate us as a couple. So we men need to be accountable to God and the union of oneness with our wives for God only desires the best for you.

Master Cleanse
So far I've completed my 10 day Master Cleanse detox program. I lost 12 lbs in the process and now have a new wardrobe. I've tried to lose weight for years and for the most part ate very well, but couldn't lose any significant weight. I've never fasted anymore than 24hrs and after the 2nd day I wasn't hungry. The salt water flush was the hardest part for the taste is disgusting, but the lemon cocktail isn't that bad as long as you don't add too much cayenne pepper. In the process I learned that the diet releases toxins from your body. The fat holds toxins so after the toxins are released the fat burns off your body Fast! I've considered going an extra 10 days, but not eating another 10 days sounds like extreme starvation. So I will transition to a liquid regimen with most raw foods to keep live enzymes working in my system. I will get back to building muscle through the P90X workout schedule. I am excited about my progress so far and suprisingly look forward to many more cleanses. I do recommend a product called NutriClean, a 7 day detox of the liver and colon for a more milder approach. You can find it at http://www.lifesbest4u.com/.
